Starts with a one!

I’ll forever be referring to the last five or six days as Hell Week, only without the hot SEAL guys. It simply sucked. But this morning, this is what I saw on the scale:

An update and run

Things are hectic this morning, but I jumped on the scale and saw 201. That’s two pounds this week and I absolutely believe I’ll see 199 next Friday. I’ll try to take a picture of the milestone (for me) number, unless it’s so close holding my phone tips me back up. Then I won’t. :lol:

My total to-lose goal (for now) is 55 pounds and I’ve lost 24, so my jars look like this:

Oh, plateau, you gotta go

I got on the scale this morning and…no change. My initial reaction was massive disappointment because I thought I’d done pretty well. And maybe Friday wasn’t the best day to do my weigh-in. Sure, it was nice to have the triumph of pounds lost to carry me through the weekend but, on the flip side, now I’m stuck with a melancholy “screw it” attitude to take into the weekend.

So close!

Friday! According to my trusty scale I managed to lose two pounds this week, despite my not-best efforts. At 203, I’m so close to being under 200 pounds for the first time in…a long time. At least since I had the Short Kid and he’s eleven and a half.

Fell in the slacker rut

I’ve been slacking a bit on the tracking of points, which is kind of the core of WW. I’m good during the day, but dinner…it can be hard to figure out those points and I’m tired and I don’t wanna. Of course, the downside is that I stepped on the scale this morning and there was no change. I’ll try to be happy I didn’t gain any and be more diligent in my tracking.
