Taz has always had a habit that’s so freaking adorable it melts me into a little puddle of mushy goo—he sucks his thumb.

So to speak. When he’s sleepy, he pulls his paw up to his face and licks the side of it with tiny little licks until he falls asleep. It’s really hard to capture his wee baby tongue with the camera, but that’s what he’s doing in this picture.

I have no idea what’s going on with my dogs today. They were cuddled on the couch together, sharing a fuzzy toy they’re both particularly fond, of when I went outside to rummage around in my truck for a receipt I can’t find.

I came in to find Mini curled up in her dad’s recliner and Taz slumped on the couch. They’re both sulking and want nothing to do with each other or with me.
