Shannon Stacey

A very small fraction

I lost .2 of a pound. It’s hardly worth mentioning but, after the last couple of months, I’m calling it a win.

I’m suffering a serious case of cabin fever, which means I need to up my activity level or go mad. I just wish I could ride my ATV, but maybe I’ll play the Wii. And, you know, clean my house a little.

How was your week?

    That’s totally a win!

I’m down .8 from last Thursday, so I guess my weekend didn’t screw me up too badly.

YAY for you–a loss is a loss!!!!

I had a “I’m not weighing myself this week” kind of week. Not enough time to exercise and my dad is having some tests done for a potentially very serious disease so some comfort eating did occur. :(

Oh, Tracy, big hugs. I hope your dad’s okay. And absolutely you can’t beat yourself up right now and the best way to do that is not get on the scale. But don’t go TOO overboard!

    Yay, Shannon!

*HUGS* Tracy! Definitely focus on doing what you need to support your dad and do what you can to keep your energy levels at what you need them to be.

I did manage to get my 10% lost star on Sunday :D I then promptly added back a couple of pounds on my daily check ins. I’ve kept up my exercise level which is why it hasn’t been more. I need to cut back again on the snacking and make better choices when eating out as I’ll be eating out again tonight and tomorrow night. I have run through all of the snacky stuff I got a TJ’s a few weeks ago, so as long as I don’t add to the stash, I should be good.

I was doing *so* well with my Special K Pastry Crisps and Greek yogurt but then had a love afair with some (lots of) oatmeal reason cookies from Subway. I might have to blame a certain book I was reading about a lodge where cookies, muffins and banana bread were doled out in an unending supply…. :)

Any loss is good–better than no loss and loads better than gain, so yay for you, Shannon!

(((Tracy))) here’s hoping the tests come back with the best possible results.

Me, I’m still at no loss, no gain–and thinking I need to get used to it at least while menopause is going on.

I need to look more into Special K products. The few things I’ve tried have been surprisingly tasty!

Still thinking of you, Tracy. *hugs*

I suggest the chocolate Pastry Crisps first, because chocolate is always first, the the brown sugar-cinnamo, followed by the strawberry.

I’ve also sent prayers for your dad, Tracy. The waiting is tough….
