A three-hour phone call with my mother has put me so far behind today I’ll never catch up, but I have to stop in on Fridays, so here I am. And I’m 1.8 pounds heavier. *facepalm* I’m not going to tell you how many times I was in the McDonald’s drive-thru this week. But I’m actually approaching going back up into another decade, so I need to stop.
How you guys doing?

I find this time of year hard. There is so much food around. Also I am doing this crazy bike training and so I say, ‘oh i did so much exercise, I can eat that’ but you know what? I really can’t!
Good luck with avoiding the Golden Arches.

Funny enough, I always think I can lose weight this time of year if I just eat healthy for my meals and save all the calories for the good stuff. Sadly it never works. The good thing is I have been consistenly exercising every day this week! For me it is all about the food though. Exercise helps me feel better and have more energy but it is the food that takes the weight off. But, like Fiona, I work out and then think I have earned a treat. Man I am craving some McDonald’s french fries now…Good luck!

If I go to Mickey D’s I try to stick to the dollar menu. That way I get my fix but I am not eating an extra value (which is large) meal. I get a mcdouble, small fry and small diet.

I’m down 1.2 this week–after 3 weeks of the same.
You can do it (you’ve proven you can!!) it’s just a little setback.

You’re not the only one who needs to forget their existence
I didn’t weigh myself this week, but I know I’m not far from the decade I just left. I started counting points again today, but fell off with a bag of peanut m&m’s. Damn them!

The one great thing about living where I do is the nearest fast food other than DQ is 30min. away…. so no temptation. My weakness is Sheets but I like the wraps so they’re not as bad for you.

Oops I meant Sheetz but auto corrector on my Kindle changed it and I didn’t notice.
