iPod Down

The Short Kid thought having a passcode requirement for his iPod Touch was cool. Then he decided changing it all the time would be even more cool. Until he forgot the passcode and locked himself out of his iPod.

iPod is disabled – connect to iTunes

Restoring it’s been a nightmare. It put iOS6 on it, which I hadn’t intended to do. And every time I try to sync it, it insists on putting every app and song we own on the damn thing and it won’t all fit, so it throws a capacity error.

I’m back at it this morning. If the power goes out and this kid doesn’t have his iPod…can’t even imagine. But the passcode thing? Done with that.

I hope you get his ipod working, especially if your power goes out. I’m usually good with troubleshooting that kind of stuff but I would have to be there to do it.

Here in the mtns. of WV, they’re giving us a blizzard warning and up to 2ft of snow, I bet your husband would like to be here. I’ve been charging up all my electronics and trying to get prepared for the power outage that I’m sure will come. I just hope it’s not out for to awful long, my Kindle Fire doesn’t have the greatest battery life.

    Take care!

My husband would definitely love to be there, especially since his new sled’s waiting at the powersports shop to be picked up.

We’re charging electronics, too. Running the Macbook on the charger so it stays full. And I charged both of my sons’ “dumb” phones so even if I kill my iPhone with the internet, I can still make a call.

And I finally wrestled his Touch into submission. Wasn’t a fun job, but I think it’s all better now. And no more passcodes for that kid. :)

We got over 3ft of wet heavy snow with the storm last week and lost power and water for 8 Days! They still haven’t got power fully restored and the snow was so heavy it collapsed many buildings and carports. Our plow on the UTV couldn’t budge the stuff and my uncles tractor got stuck trying. We couldn’t get out of our driveway until Sat. Your husband is probably glad he wasn’t here now :-) Did you guys get much?

We got nothing. We still don’t have any snow and we were up north last weekend (in his sled stomping grounds) and they didn’t have grass cover. He’s getting grumpy.

We have a plow for the ATV on order, so no doubt we’ll get a big storm the day before it comes in. :D
