Chilly, rainy days

Not the best weekend at camp. Cold, rain and wind. Each of which is a nuisance on its own but, together, not fun. My husband rode anyway, but the rest of us opted out.

On the way, Taz saw his first moose:

A LOT of this was done:

And when your parents are lingering at the restaurant, talking with friends, find a quiet place to read:

Other than some writing and a few matches of iPad Yahtzee, that pretty much sums up our weekend. How was yours?

I have SO much yard work to do. Instead, I’m not looking out my windows.

My dad turned 80 and we partied and now on this Monday Morning it is hard hard to get motivated. Oh and it is raining and dismal. Should be Sunday here too!

I printed pics to go in the back of one of those memory cards for my dad’s 68th birthday tomorrow. And worked on some projects around the house. It was hot out here, so I mostly stayed inside.

I went to kids fishing day with my Daughter, husband and 6 grandkids on Saturday. They had just stocked the pond so not much fish caught but no-one fell in or hooked thrmselves or each other so I’ll call it a good day. From there we went to Tracker Marine picnic to watch the cardboard boat races. There were 4 boats all made from cardboard and lots of duct tape (even their paddles) that had to make it across the pond and back.My step-son won thus taking the trophy from last years winner,my son.As parents we are SO proud!!!Sunday it was back to the real world, which means back to the dairy farm.
