Just a fraction

Lost .8 this week. Not a gain, but not much in the way of a loss. I’m pretty much spinning my wheels now, so…

1) I have to start tracking points again. And I mean it this time.
2) Treadmill starting Monday. And I mean it this time.
3) The following Monday, starting Jillian Michaels – 30 Day Shred. I did it once before, several years ago, but I wasn’t doing anything else (like the treadmill or eating well), so it was a brutal exercise in futility that lasted three days.

I thought about ordering Power 90, the slightly less brutal version of the infamous PX90, but I already own the 30 Day Shred, so I’ll start there.

How did everybody else do this week?

I started tracking my points again the second I got home from the hospital. It makes such a difference.

.8 pounds is almost a pound. It’s great.

As for the 30 day shred? That woman is vicious! She made me cry, lol. But I might be willing to try it again with you…

Yeah, I have 30 day shred too. 3 months later I’m still on workout 1 b/c that one is hard enough!! LOL

I lost 1.5 this week and FINALLY hit my 10 lb mark!! *doing a happy dance!*

YAAAAY, Tracy! That’s wicked awesome! *tosses confetti*

We can all Shred together! Last time I tried it I was stunned to learn that, of all the things I’ve tried to do, a stupid jumping jack would be the hardest. Those killed me! (Also, don’t stand under the ceiling fan.)

The jumping jacks are not hard for me cardio-wise, but my boobs cannot take the bouncing. I’ve got a really expensive sports bra that is supposed to be for full-figured girls, but gravity, jumping jacks and DD cups do not go well together!! LOL

People keep saying that as I loose weight, it will get better. Maybe a little, but I lost 20 lbs 3 years ago and I was still a DD. I loose weight there last and I have always been “disproportionate” (I was a C cup when I weighed 130) so I don’t expect that to change.

This week I got serious about tracking points again. I’m not being good about tracking everything, but I am tracking most of it–which is helping me still be aware of what I’m not tracking. After a few weeks of not weighing myself, I did weigh myself again last Sunday, so we’ll see how well/if the tracking of points helped when I weigh in again on Sunday.

I’ve lost what I gained last week. I think I might lose a little more before I step on the scale tomorrow.

Need to get back to exercise each week. I know that will help me get back on track.

I can vouch for the effectiveness of the Power90 when paired with healthy eating–the weight I lost stayed off for years.

I need to find a way to do it again–even with the blasted rotating schedule that has me working some days from 4 am to 2 pm and the next day from 3 pm to midnight *sigh*

Success! Lost 2.4 pounds this past week. Even better, I broke through one of my milestone weight barriers. Barely, but I did. I know a lot of the weight loss was helped by how much walking I did this past week, especially yesterday (almost 7.5 miles), but as I’m really trying to keep to only losing 1-2 pounds per week, I’ll be okay with a decrease in rate as long as I keep losing. I know the tracking really helped keep me in check with my eating–along with not having any chocolate covered pretzels in the house. I’m going to have to get some and teach myself portioning with them as I really love them too much to completely give them up.

Tracking points is a big thing for me, I think. I’m not sure why I’m struggling with being diligent with it. (Actually, a lot of it is that I’ve been horribly busy with work, so we’re eating out and getting take-out more, which is wicked hard to track.)

I might try a cycle of the Shred (on level one) and then get the Power90. I’ve heard great things about it, and I’ve seen what the PX90 (which I won’t even attempt) did for my sister.

    And yay Liza and Katie!

I just found your blog and am very excited about it. I am even more excited to see that you’re sharing your weight loss journey. I have been on and off WW for over 4 years. At one point I was down just short of 55 pounds and was 3 pounds away from my goal weight. Jump to my current weight and I’m back to where I started (minus 5 pounds). I have been trying to get my head on straight and get back on plan, but I just am doing terrible. Maybe you girls can kick my butt back into shape. Feel free to randomly message “Tina, drop that hamburger, pizza, candy, etc (insert anything bad, there is a good chance you’ll hit the nail on the head).

I am at 193 and would be absolutely, positively thrilled to be at 165.

I’m glad you found us, Tina! I’m not doing very well this week, so I think I need some butt kicking myself.

I need to eat a good breakfast, instead of not eating until dinner, and get on the treadmill. And I keep saying that, week after week. Friday’s weigh-in might not be pretty.

Tomorrow is my weigh in day. I know it’s not going to be pretty. I am praying for strength to start back on plan tomorrow. Planning is definitely key and I haven’t been doing that at all.
