The voting round that includes Yours To Keep versus Trail of the Tudor Blue by Gwen Roman is live at dabwaha.com until 1pm eastern. I’d love a vote for Sean and Emma!
Earlier in the week, I popped over to Amazon to scope out my competition and ended up buying the book because it sounds awesome and I can be pretty confident it’s a good read since Jayne gave it an A- review at Dear Author and put it on her Best of 2011 list. (I’m probably not doing this trash-talking thing very well, but I love a good action-adventure romance.) (But that doesn’t mean you should vote for it. Vote for Yours To Keep, okay?) The blurb?
For straight-and-narrow art restorer Ardis Bellamy, a trip to the South of France to reclaim a historic blue diamond necklace should have been only mildly nervewracking. Understatement. In order to succeed, she’s going to have to learn whom she can and can’t trust, give the thugs who are chasing her the slip, and decide whether her growing relationship with sexy “recovery agent” James Tate is worth risking everything for — or whether he’s been double-crossing her all along. As a general competitor, my bracket’s as blown as an overinflated ATV tire.

Love DABWAHA! Only lost one so far. This year I went by number of ratings on goodreads and didn’t vote against anybody that might be friends with you, maya banks, jaci burton, or larissa ione since I didn’t account for pimpage last year and my brackets were shot from the beginning

Last year got absolutely insane! It was fun, but exhausting. This year we’re not allowed to offer bribes, which I’m actually happy about, and I think it’s going to keep things a little more sane.

Pretty sure my bracket’s blown, too. I knew it would be, though. There are too many of the books I haven’t read (YA I’m looking at you) to be able to make any kind of guess.

There were a lot of books I not only haven’t read, but hadn’t heard of. Mostly I looked at their social media and if the author hadn’t even mentioned being a DABWAHA finalist, I didn’t pick them.

Speaking of bribes, will we getting the Kowalski parents’ story? No pressure, I’m just curious.
I don’t have Yours to Keep winning the whole thing this year, but that’s actually because I really want it to win. And I never pick the winner. I think I doomed Exclusively Yours last year by picking it to win
The DABWAHA always makes for a great shopping list.

I haven’t forgotten that. I just had a rocky 2011 and I’m still trying to catch up on contracted stuff. But I absolutely am working on it.

Okay, since that plan didn’t work. I have gone with my heart and picked Yours to Keep to win in the 2nd chance tournament.

Thank you! I’m a serious underdog, but I’ll do my best!
