After stopping into Books-A-Million, where I signed the copies they had of Exclusively Yours, we wandered down the plaza and, for some reason, went into the Hallmark store.
Where I saw this coffee mug and asked it where it had been all my life:
When the Short Kid, who’s been told not to make me call the flying monkeys at least a million times in his life, saw it, he said I had to buy it. I have no idea what 2012 has in store for me, but I’ll be starting the new year with a wicked coffee mug.

SK will never have to hear that phrase again. You can just point to the mug. How well does it work with your Keurig?

I can totally picture myself pointing to the mug.
I haven’t tried it with the Keurig yet. I’m guessing it’ll be one large cup run, instead of running a large cup AND a small cup to fill it. That might make the coffee stronger than I like (I usually use less in my regular coffeemaker than they say to) but I have one of those reusable, self-fill K-cups coming, so I can adjust as necessary.

That mug is too cute. I have that saying on a plaque in my classroom. Thank goodness my principal has a sense of humor

Love it!

OMG! I want one!

It was like $12 at the Hallmark store. I’m afraid 2012 might be the year of collecting funky coffee mugs, since it’s ridiculous how much having this on my desk cheers me up.
But it’ll be hard for any mug to top this one. “Don’t make me call the flying monkeys” is by far my favorite (and most used) threat.
