Kinda sorta Angry Birds-ish…but not really

As third and fourth graders, my son and his classmates got to enjoy their school’s annual Fall Festival. This year, as fifth graders, they get to give back and host the event. The Short Kid and his Fall Festival partner are hosting a game booth, unofficially called “Kinda Sorta Angry Birds-ish…But Not Really”.

The third and fourth graders will be throwing small Angry Birds at paper plates with green pigs drawn on them. The Short Kid will be wearing his Angry Birds T-shirt and carrying his stuffed blue Angry Bird that makes the Angry Bird sound. But, according to him, they won’t be calling it an Angry Birds booth because that would be a copyright no-no.

This morning at Walmart, I found cat toys that will be perfect as kinda sort Angry Birds-ish projectiles.

And, even though we use a bandage in this house maybe once every two years, I bought a box of Angry Birds bandages because I’m a sucker.

And the Short Kid wants to be an Angry Bird for Halloween. I think we kinda sorta maybe have an Angry Birds-ish problem…or not really.

I don’t play games on my iThings–though I have been living above rocks, so I *do* know about Angry Birds! But I just had to say—I’m in awe of that awesome manicure! :)

Thanks! I’m already picking at the polish (*blush*), but they looked pretty that day. :)
