Monday’s kicking my butt today. Between the business phone ringing constantly because people forget to have their AC serviced before it hits 90 degrees and things in my inbox, I haven’t even opened the to-do list. (Today: cover form for my Christmas novella.) And grocery shopping? Forget it.
The HQN paperback edition of EXCLUSIVELY YOURS is now available for pre-order from Barnes & Noble, Amazon and Book Depository.
I’m on the second episode of season three of Friday Night Lights and loving it so much. Not sure how I missed it before, seeing as how I love football and loved the 2004 movie of the same name (and also from the immensely talented Peter Berg) but, thanks to Netflix, I’m catching up.
As with any ongoing series, there are storylines I like more than others. And I questioned a timeline in season one (from an accident leaving a teen paralyzed to trying out for wheelchair rugby league in the span of one high school football regular season?). But I love the characters. Madly. And the acting is top-notch.
Sadly, because of the previously mentioned kicking of my butt by Monday, I won’t be watching any episodes today!

Friday Night Lights is an amazing show. I’m sad it’s over, but I’ve so enjoyed its run. Great writing, great acting, heartwarming always. I’m glad you’re experiencing it too.

It’s over? Isn’t that just my luck. Hopefully it was anticipated and “ends” rather than just…not being on anymore. I like when they know it’s coming and wrap things up.

Hi Shannon-
So, I actually just received YOUR business cards in the mail from vistraprint rather than my own, so I figured I would check out your website and now I think I have to read some of your books!
Hopefully you get your business cards soon!
Cheers,
Annemarie

Thank you, Annemarie!
Contacting them is on my list for today. I got the business cards for a gentleman who does business development in the green energy field. Sounds like they had a major oops at Vistaprint!

Ha! I wonder how long the chain is of people who got the wrong business cards.
Yes, FNL didn’t get the big ratings, so when the network dropped it, it was picked up by Direct TV, and played there first, then played on the network. I believe they did anticipate this was the
last season, and it has an end. We have the final shows on our DVR, and are watching them slowly, to prolong the experience, lol.
Dont let that stop you from continuing to watch – it’s so worth it.

I couldn’t stop watching now if I wanted to. I’m hooked! (It’s reassuring to know it just won’t leave me hanging, though.)

Good thing about days like that, the eventually end. Just wanted to say CONGRATS on your book hitting Bestseller. I read it and loved it!!
