Mid-week miscellaneous

And trust me, when I say miscellaneous, I mean miscellaneous.

Yay! B&N finally came through, so Yours To Keep is now available for pre-order from: Carina Press, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble!

I have the house to myself for a few brief hours, so I have the TV on and…

I love Allstate’s Mayhem commercials. A lot. I think whoever came up with them should get a raise.

I’m dying for Harry Potter 7.2 and the trailers are just making it worse.

“Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition” is wrecking me emotionally just as much as “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” does.

And a photo from this past weekend:

I did the Smart Bitches, Trashy Books online bookclub last night and they announced Yours to Keep would be the next bookclub book! Woohoo!!! (And Congratulations – I think you’re the first author to be picked twice!)

I like the mayhem commercials, too.

But even though I would never go back to Verizon (due to the crappy customer service they had for the two years I was with them in Vegas), they have my favorite commercial at the moment: the girl with the lemonade stand and her father loans her his iPhone for the day. So cute!

And thanks, Carin, for the headsup re: the bookclub pick.

I’m SO VERY EXCITED to be the SB book club pick!!! Three exclamation points worth!!! It’s leaked out here and there (one eagle-eyed reader spotted Y2K’s cover in the graphic on ARe), but I think Sarah’s going to announce it when the rebate goes into effect (the 10th?), so I’ll probably do a blog post then. With lots of exclamation points!!!

And I love that Verizon commercial, too. So cute!

Bummer you had crappy CS from them. We’ve been with them 6 or 7 years without a complaint. (*knocks wood*) You couldn’t pay us to leave Verizon. (Okay, you could, but it would be spendy.) But I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes that Verizon kind of dominates the New England market.
