Going mobile only for the long weekend

My router seems to have issues. I’ve been having trouble for some time with gadgets dropping the wireless connection, but turning the wireless off and back on always picked it up. Now it’s not picking it back up and the common denominator is the router.

Since we have a fun long weekend scheduled, I’m not going to deal with the headache right now. (Setting up routers is one of my least favorite computer chores and, after a lot of frustrating trial and error, I usually “accidentally” do something right.) Since the only reliable access I have is my iPhone, I’m going mobile for the long weekend. (Which means tomorrow through Monday.) I’m looking forward to kicking back with my family and, besides a little four-wheeling, I’m hoping to spend a lot of time curled up on the couch, watching movies.

So, have an ass-kicking Fourth of July to my fellow Americans, and have a rocking good weekend to everybody else!

Enjoy your weekend with the family. Lots of time my iPhone is my only weekend access to the internet.

Enjoy the long weekend. And good luck with the router.

We had a constant problem with our router until we plugged it into the power strip/circuit breaker that the rest of the computer is connected to. No more problems. This may not work for you, but it’s worth a try.

Have a safe and insane Fourth!
