I think it’s time to give away a copy of Yours To Keep, don’t you? (Even if you don’t, I’m doing it anyway because I’m contrary that way.) It releases two weeks from Monday, and I have ePub and PDF author copies.
First…the back cover copy:
Sean Kowalski no sooner leaves the army than he’s recruited by Emma Shaw to be her fake fiancé. Emma needs to produce a husband-to-be for her grandmother’s upcoming visit, and, though Sean doesn’t like the deception, he could use the landscaping job Emma’s offering while he decides what to do with his civilian life. And, despite his attraction to Emma, there’s no chance he’ll fall for a woman with deep roots in a town he’s not planning to call home.
Emma’s not interested in a real relationship either; not with a man whose idea of home is wherever he drops his duffel bag. No matter how amazing his “pretend” kisses are…
How do you enter? Emma’s a landscaper so, here in the comments, tell me your favorite flower or plant. Tomorrow, probably around noon eastern, one random commenter will win a copy of Yours To Keep!

Mine is definitely the gardenia. I love the way it smells. In fact, I found some perfume from Crabtree and Evelyn that smells exactly like gardenia. Love it!!

Favorite flower or plant? Hmm… so many to choose from! Plant wise I keep thinking vegetables, but that’s no fun. I’ll go with sassafras.
[Tree… plant… whatever.]
Flower? I actually love the wild violets – a specific kind though, and I have no idea what the name is. Sad. Otherwise… I am quite partial to orchids and water lilies. Obviously I’m indecisive.

I’m a new homeowner and have a long running green thumb, but so far I’ve been able to keep my new petunias alive. I love the colors and who doesn’t smile just saying the word “petunia”?

Bright red geraniums. They are my most favorite flower/plant because they are just so brilliant, bright and summer-y. They look so welcoming against pansies, marigolds, and dark green ground cover. Love them!

I actually love gerber daisies. They’re simple but full of so much color.
Comment
I love Roses, especially the really fragrant ones. I have 9 in my yard and a couple on my deck
Comment
My favorite flower is a tie between daisies and tulips–both are beautiful and scent-free so they don’t kill me because of my allergies.
Comment
My favorite flower are roses, but for scent and it has to be magnolias. Sadly I can’t grow them here in Alaska as it is too frigid in the northern interior.
Favorite house plant is the philodendrons because they are one plant that I have hard time NOT killing…*S*
Finally have enough room to plant a garden this year and planning has to be so careful due to seasons here…I’m loving the challenge.
Thank you for the chance to win your book, and blurb is great and going to put on my gotta have list…:)

Even though I preordered my Kindle version last week, I want to spread the gospel on the joys of gardening with hellebores. They look their best in late winter into early spring when little else is green. They grow with little attention in unimproved soil, they’re drought tolerant and insect- and disease-resistant. They are expensive to buy because they’re slow growers, but when established they are prolific. And if I win this contest, I will happily ship some to you!

My favorite is my huge Magnolia tree in my back yard. Its gives lots of shade but when there is a light breeze all you can smell is the flowers on the tree. I even pick some and put them in a water bowl and they will small up your living room for the day!
Comment
I think daisies are my favorites, with tulips a close second. I’m counting the days until Yours to Keep!

My favorite is my Iris’. Not only are the beautiful and multiply like rabbits, they hold a special place in my heart. The ones I have in my front yard came from my Grandmother’s house. My Grandfather wanted me to have some when she passed away in 05. They are even more special now, because he passed away 4 months ago. They are in full bloom now, yellow & purple. I walk out my front door and I am greeted with a sweet hello from my Grandparents every day. I know that she would have been thrilled they are doing so well and that I have taken care of them as she would have.

Congratulations on the release, Shan. Right now I have some Rosemary growing on my back porch, which is the only thing that seems to be thriving at the moment. The weather has been so up and down here recently, that everythings taken a bad hit. So, right now the smell of the rosemary is great. For florals, honeysucklet at night.
