Win a copy of Burning Ambition by Amy Knupp!

I went grocery shopping yesterday and, once again, grabbed a book to give away. Today, it’s Burning Ambition by Amy Knupp (Harlequin SuperRomance)!

Captain Joe Mendoza has wanted to be fire chief since he was four years old. And now he’s one step away from making assistant chief. But that’s proving to be one big step now that the chief’s daughter has joined his crew. He’s promised he’ll keep her safe — and promised himself to keep things strictly business.

Faith Peligni has battled her way back from an on-the-job injury in San Antonio, and she’s stronger than ever. Even if as the first female firefighter on the San Amaro Island crew — and the chief’s daughter — she’s expecting some heat. But with the impossibly distracting Joe Mendoza as her captain, who knew it could get this hot?

A romance hero with an armful of cute kitties! To enter, tell me if you’re a cat person or a dog person. Or both. Or neither. At about 10am eastern tomorrow, I’ll draw a name to win Burning Ambition!

(Also, I’ll be giving away a cool, yet-to-be-determined prize to one randomly drawn newsletter subscriber in June to celebrate the release of Yours To Keep, so don’t forget to SIGN UP if you want a chance to win the…something. But something cool. Promise.)

I used to be a dog person, but I’ve become hard core sucker for kitties in recent years.

I’m totally both. It’s been killing me that our current dog (who we rescued 12 years ago after we lost our last cat) isn’t a cat person, so we can’t have both at the same time. Next, we’ll be getting a puppy and kitten together, I think. But that’s still a few years off.

And while I love cats, that cover is so stereotypical (firefighters rescuing kitties?) and doesn’t do Amy Knupp’s talent justice. IMHO. Though he has some mighty fine arms :)

I am totally both I love cats and dogs equally , When I need to go and get some fresh air my dog is the answer and I dont need to go alone and when I just feel like cuddling up with a good book my cat is the one I want close to me.

I am sucker for animals and cats and dogs are no exception !

Great post and thank you for the giveaway and thank you for the chance to win.

Both. And any other animal that happens to show up at my house. I’ve had just about everything at this point. Right now it’s only 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 bird, and 2 snakes. Pretty mild for me lol

I’m definitely a cat person. I think that’s really determined by what you had as pets growing up and we always had cats so. :)

I am both. Growing up we had dogs and I love them. When I was 16 a stray cat arrived at my doorstep and promptly gave birth to three kittens before she died from complications. I then bottle fed those three kittens and that’s when I became a cat person as well as a dog person. I love my Lucky, she is the last cat that was born and she sits perched beside me as I write this.

A hero in uniform with an arm full of kitties. This is so unfair!

I’m both, actually. My cousin owns a pet store that I frequently help out in, so I can’t possibly choose. :)
