First, and most importantly, items being donated to the auction to benefit Fatin’s family are being listed here. Please go and check them out because there are awesome books and critiques and more to bid on and it’s for Fatin’s daughters.
Yay for Daylight Saving Time! Okay, the Sunday after the clocks change seems a little short, but I’m a huge fan of this change. I love that it’s not dark by suppertime. Sure, it’s dark when I get up now, but who cares? I’m sitting on the couch, drinking coffee and glaring at anybody who tries to disturb me. Don’t need sunlight for that. In fact, it’s probably best if the lighting’s bad.
What else…
SK passed the written test given to the winners of the school-level Geography Bee winners and qualified for the state level. He’ll be doing that on April first and is already paranoid they’ll tell him he got an answer right and then yell “April Fool’s!” We’ve assured him they won’t do that, but he doesn’t believe us.
I’ll be working on a synopsis today. They’re always tough, but I’m finding this one to be particularly brutal. Maybe because I already did it once. But my editor and I agreed on removing an element of the story and that element took the meat of the conflict with her. So I’m rebuilding. Or trying to.
And don’t forget the DABWAHA! I love March Madness, romance style!

Good luck to SK.
I went with my heart and have Exclusively Yours winning DABWAHA. No pressure

I love having daylight later, but I’m not happy with Number One being at the bus stop in the dark again, at 6:40 in the morning. I rarely have productive Sundays so the loss of an hour doesn’t hurt too much.
