A little bit more about Yours By Design

Back in November, I mentioned that I’d be writing a third book about the Kowalski family. (It was November 5th that I started it, actually, because I was supposed be finding my missing shoe for a family wedding and I almost had to go in my sneakers because I spent too much time trying to get the opening of the story down.)

On the 8th, I posted this very rough sketch on my blog:

After leaving the Army, Sean Kowalski decides to spend a little time visiting the New Hampshire branch of the Kowalski family before figuring out what to do with the rest of his life. His plan’s simple—find a job, bum an apartment over his cousin’s bar and mooch some of his Aunt Mary’s cooking.

It doesn’t take long for his plan to go awry…

But who is Sean Kowalski?

Sean is cousin to Joe and Kevin (and Mike and Terry). His father and Leo were brothers. Joe and Kevin’s mom, Mary, is like a second mother to Sean (and his siblings) and he’s very close to the entire family we met in Exclusively Yours and Undeniably Yours.

But how does his plan go awry?

Emma Shaw knocks on his door and introduces herself as his fake fiancee.

Wait…what? Who?

That’s what he said.

Emma Shaw is a friend of Lisa Kowalski and when she told a little white lie about having a man around the house to put her grandmother’s mind at ease, Sean’s name was the first that popped into her head. Now that little white lie’s about to bite her in the butt unless she can convince Sean to spend a few weeks pretending to be madly head over heels in love with her.

Hijinks, love and laughter ensue.

Ooh, this hopefully means we will be seeing more of Lisa & Mike. As much as I’ve loved the two main couples, Mike & Lisa and Terry & Evan are actually my favorites.

I take it Sean’s siblings are single, right?

I’m going to need a chart to keep track of who’s who.

Yup, more Mike and Lisa. And all of the rest of the family (though I have to focus on a few or I’ll go mad). And we’ll also briefly meet Sean’s three (single) brothers and his (single) sister.

I’m actually going to do a family tree. I just have to figure out how I want to do it. Probably PDF.

I have read the whole Kowalski series and I am obsessed! I read all three books in two days! Shannon, I am seriously hoping for a fourth! I don’t think that I will be able to survive without another Kowalski story to put under my belt! :)
