SK’s head…squared

We decorated the tree last night, which meant looking through the little pictures of the boys we hang with the ornaments. There’s one in particular that we always linger over and everybody laughs (though I still wince a little bit on the inside in memory, to be honest).

I’m not sure if I’ve done it here on the blog, but occasionally the Short Kid is subject to jokes about the size and shape of his head when he was a little one. Calling him a blockhead, for instance. When he protests, this is the picture that makes his point invalid.

I know it’s not a great photo, but taking pictures of pictures with a cellphone is only going to go so well. Let me just zoom in a bit here. See how well the shape of his head fits the frame? Yeah.

Thankfully, he’s grown into the size and shape of his head now, but boy was it funny as hell watching him learn to stand up and walk. If his head started to go, it was all over because that was some serious momentum.

I’m sorry I’m laughing so hard at SK’s expense. But LOLOL!

We have a niece who, as a baby, looked EXACTLY like Elmer Fudd. The phase passed. Praise be.
