Mystery of the blizzard pool

I’m a little baffled this morning. Because my teenage son has yet to shovel the “kitchen yard” off the back door (and my husband made it known in no uncertain terms mom was not to do it), I had to take Mini out into the driveway to do her morning business.

Now, besides my car and my husband’s pick-up, the driveway is occupied—or should I say dominated—by the snowmobile trailer. It’s not huge, being only about twelve feet long and ten feet wide or so, but our driveway’s not exactly huge, either. And it’s surrounded by vehicles. My car’s parked to its right. The truck’s currently at an angle across the nose of both so it has a straight shot up and out of our not-flat driveway. On the other side is the neighbor’s car.

So this morning, post-storm, I saw this oddity:

Yes, there is a fairly large, blue plastic kiddie pool upside down under the snowmobile trailer. I have no idea where it came from. I’ve never seen one in the neighborhood that I recall.

Sure, we had some light-flickering, tree-snapping wind gusts going on, but how did it navigate itself through the vehicles and slide itself so neatly under the trailer?

Did somebody find it blowing around and stow it under there for want of any place else to put it?

It’s a mystery.

Also a mystery…what the hell am I supposed to do with it? (Besides leave it for my husband to deal with, of course.)
