So here you are on my blog (Hello!), so how do you enter to win?
If you won the lottery and could buy yourself any gift this holiday, what would it be? I’d buy myself a brand-spankin’-new Mercedes Benz GL550 SUV! The starting base price on that sucker’s $84,450, but that’s okay because we’re thinking big and having a little fun here.
To be entered, tell me…What would you buy?
(If your comment goes to moderation, don’t worry—I’ll be checking it several times a day and I’ll check it a final time to make sure I didn’t miss any before the winners are chosen!)

If I won the lottery, I’d buy myself the perfect little beach cottage to do all my writing. Nothing big and fancy. It just has to be right on the beach.
Comment
Since we’re talking big, I would buy myself a nice small yacht & go on a trip around the world. Could stay longer where I like it more or spend some days out on the ocean while seeing great places & meeting new people. Lovely.
Comment
Well assuming this is one of the mega lotteries, I would buy my dream house and then start a publishing company that would offer a bit more of the profits to the writer
and I could read until my heart was content
Comment
Winning the lottery would not only benefit me but my family as well. No one would have a house payment, have to worry about saving for college funds, or bills to pay. But in order for me to truly enjoy the money, I would take a looooong trip with my husband to Scotland, Ireland, Greece, Italy, Australia, and Alaska. After that, I would retire to the Pacific Northwest, open a flower shop, and write to my heart’s content!!
Comment
I would buy jewelry – lots and lots of diamonds
Then I would take a nice long vacation with my family!

If I won the lottery… I’d pay off my law school loans first >.< Then probably buy my parents a car each, pay off sister's mortgage… and then maybe get a place for me in a city I like – DC or NYC I think. The remainder would go into savings or charities. I'm… painfully boring and practical I guess. :X And kinda greedy. Heh.
Comment
OMGosh! If I won the lottery I would buy myself a house. Not necessarily a really big one, but one that felt like me that had rooms that I loved and a place for my books.
It’s always been a dream of mine to have my very own place. I hate renting. Hate it! And since I would have plenty of money I wouldn’t have to worry about the upkeep and could actually hire someone to do all of the things I hate doing, like mowing grass and shoveling snow
Comment
I would buy my house
. Seriously, that would be the ultimate present. And if there was any left over? It’d be a classic Porsche 911 Carerra. Yummy.
Comment
If I won the lottery I’d remodel the house (or build a new one) and stash away some college money. But the fun thing… I think I’d go for a VW Beetle in a nice kelly green.
Comment
First I would pay off all of my bills (and my families)…then buy a nice little house on the beach
Comment
Can’t wait to read these newest releases by such awesome authors! Thanks for the contest!
I’m such a mom! I would buy an SUV that’s not too mom-ish!
Comment
Pay off my bills, then buy myself a nice piece of land and build my dream home/log house.
Comment
wouyld love to win your contest

If I won the lottery I’d buy a house in a safer neighborhood that isn’t falling apart and is relatively quiet. I could probably also go for buying a new car so I can give my mom my old one.
Comment
Valerie and I could be twins – I’d pay off my bills, family bills, and then buy a nice house with a view of something..(haven’t quite decided what kind of view I’d like the most)!
Comment
I’d buy a cool place downtown (no commute=a happy Owen!) and make sure that it came complete with a hot door man, an excellent male chef (also hot) and a gorgeous pool man. A cool house and three hot male staff to stare at and play with…..what else could a single girl possibly want?
Comment
If I won the lottery I would fully fund the College Funds to have set up for each of my grandchildren.
I want them to be able to look to their future and what their goals are and what will bring them true happiness and not have to work as hard as my children did to reach their goals whaterver they may be.

If I won the lottery and could buy myself something special…it would have to be a new house. A quaint home, but a nice one none the less…something that would be paid for in full…and then I’d buy myself a car and get my dental work done and get lypo done and a few other things.
Yeah, I’d shoot for the stars for the first time in my life.

I would buy a 1965 chevrolet impala ss convertible my first car and the one I met my wife of 38 years in

Winning the lottery, wow.
My husband left me this year and took everything, leaving me the house (not as much of a blessing as one might think with the current economy) and all of the debt. The house has heavy debt against it.
Faced with the uncertainty of trying to maintain the mortgage until I can sell, I guess I’d buy the house to own it outright and stabilize my financial situation.
Then would come paying off debt for myself and for family, etc.
Comment
I would replace all the things that have broken around my house in the last 2 years of unemployment!!
Comment
I’d build the house of my dreams and do a trip around the world
Comment
I’d buy a house (I’m sooo over renting) and put a new Jeep Wrangler in the garage (not sure how I’d get the kids around, but…)
Comment
Hmmmm…if I was to win the lottery, I would build a house with an individual bathroom for all 5 of my children. Then I would make sure that there rooms were sound proof and pay them not to fight constantly. Oh yeah, and lets not forget the husband, I would make sure that he has a car that runs, especially in the winter weather.
It’s nice to think big…I guess that’s why I like your books so much. It takes me away from this chaotic world I live in…

I would hire a designer to create the best computer room/library in all the heavens. Every electronic gadget, a chair that feels like sitting on clouds, every book I have ever wanted to read, a HD tv on the wall, and a small refrigerator filled with snacks and drinks.
Comment
I would set up a collage fund for my girls and a retirement fund for myself.
Comment
I’d buy my husband and I the honeymoon we didn’t get to go on when we got married in July.
Comment
If I won the lottery, this is lame, but I would pay off our farm and put these two yearlings into serious training.
Comment
I’m with you I’ve been dreaming about the same SUV , I just love the way it looks and thay drive like a dream ( Test Drove one) and nice cars for all my kids.

I’m excited for all the Christmas releases! If I won the lottery, I’d pay off all the bills including students loans for myself and my mother. Then, I’d go on a grand tour of Europe with a good friend or two (have a fling with a cute Frenchman? I’d find time to work that in…), then I’d come home and buy/build a cabin either in the mountains where I grew up or near the coast where I live now. Hmmm….decisions!
Wouldn’t it be great to have to make these tough million-dollar decisions? I think I’m up for it! LOL

I’d buy a horse ranch! Or a second home in England.
I’m entering for my MIL, because for some reason, she can’t leave a comment.

What’s left, goes in a savings.

If I won the lottery, a really BIG lottery, the best thing would be the sense of financial security, college funds for the kids, travel (lots of travel), an excessive number of fabulous shoes, and more time to write!
Thanks for the great giveaway, look forward to reading your book!

If I won definitely a house, since I live in a crappy trailer, and maybe a new car, since ours is quickly breaking down. The rest if there was any would go to the kids college funds. May not be fun but it’s practical.
Comment
Since there was no stipulation on how much money I’d win, I’d buy a house. Nothing too grand, three bedrooms (no kids), 2 1/2 baths, 2 car garage with enough land around it that my neighbors can’t look in my windows from their house. It would be great if it was “green” and had solar heat.
Comment
I wish I could be more philanthropic with my plan for the money, but I have to have a me moment here and say I’d buy me a new handicapped accessible mini-van. The one I currently have has all sorts of pretty lights lit up on the dash that I can’t afford to fix. So I’m in dire need of new transportation.
If there’s money left, then I’d donate to a food pantry and other programs that provide items to lower income individuals.
Comment
I would probably buy either an Audi R8 or a Porsche Panamera. I love cars and romance novels…so I guess you know where the rest of the money would go…
Comment
Well we’ve just sold our house with land and looking to downsize into just a house. If I won big in the lottery I would buy big
A house with at least 100acres so we could buy more horses rather than selling them. Oh and I could have rescue a few more dogs lol.
Comment
I would buy a 2011 Mopar Challenger V10 Drag Pak Car and use whatever money was left over for racing.
Comment
If I won the lottery I would buy a big house with a big yard! I grew up in a small house with plenty of places to play. I grew up an a farm and I would love to have an environment like that. I loved living on a farm and I miss it very much.
Comment
I would have to save a large chunk of it to pay off my vet school loans. I’d buy a house to live in while finishing my vet school courses, then move somewhere wide open and buy a ranch and build a clinic on the property as well. I’d have to have the fancy new truck and trailer for that as well. Being a vet is expensive stuff.
Comment
I’d buy all three cars on my cute car list: Mini Cooper, Audi TT turbo, and Porsche Cayman. I’d love a Ferrari or a Lambo, but I’d rather have comfort than a speeding-ticket-magnet.
Comment
I’d buy me a house and a ton of land on a rocky coast like northern california or oregon or some place like that and hide away from everyone.
Comment
I won $100 earlier this year playing the lottery….used it for gas money on my vacation I had planned for the next week. Haven’t been lucky enough to win anything since….but I have a list of wishes it could go for!!!

This is a really hard one. Outside of paying all the bills for us and our families, I’d love to start a charity. Tonight on the news I heard of a school in Swain Co, NC, that doesn’t have enough books in the library for the children to be able to check them out to take them home. They are asking for new and used book donations. My DH is out of a job but we’ve decided to hit the used book store and buy some books for this library. My love of reading started at a young age. I checked stacks of books out from the library. Wouldn’t it be great to have the money to fund that library? Ok, I’d have to do something for all the homeless pets too and then that brings up the homeless people. OK, probably way more than you wanted to know.
What fun thing do I want for me? A Bernina embroidery machine is always on the top of the list but at $5000, I’m afraid it will always stay right there on the list!
Happy Holidays to all. I can’t wait to read the new books!

I guess the first thing I would do would pay off all the bills in my immediate family, and mine. Then I could set up trust funds for my goddaughter and her son. Then if I had enough left, I would build my dream home and dream business of selling books and music cds and movies in my small town.
There would be guest artists and authors monthly to bring the literary would and music world to my home town. And with a portion left over I would set up something for stray animals, not just cats and dogs, of the area where they can be taken to be cared for and allowed to live free within the area.
