Costumes changes

The Short Kid told me, quite some time ago, he wanted to be Napoleon for Halloween. Okay, fine. (This would stem from an overdose of Civilization Revolution on the PS3.)

Recently, he changed his mind to Luigi. Then to Mario. (Thank you, Super Mario Brothers for the Wii.)

Then it was…Bowser? (Hat tip to Mario Kart for the Wii.)

Very recently, he changed his mind again. He wanted to be a soldier. (Thanks to the camo cargo pants I bought him.)

Even more recently, he announced he’s going to be an Alaskan State Trooper. (Really? Come on.)

When I pointed out that Halloween’s like a week away, he said…

“So? You always wait until the day before Halloween to buy my costume anyway.”

Rotten kid.

These days my Halloween prep consists of buying two pumpkins, a couple strands of orange lights and a boatload of webbing, and one (huge) bag of candy. After that, it’s up to Them.
