The Dear Author Community Picks bundle has arrived! I’m very excited about it because two of the books are books I’ve desperately wanted to have digital copies of. What is the Dear Author Community Picks bundle?
For their second blogger bundle, Jane of Dear Author went to the experts: readers! Their task: recommend titles that have not been previously available as ebooks and vote on the ones they want in a bundle. Suggestions were made, reasons argued and votes cast. Now, the four winners are gathered here! From a romantic comedy from Harlequin Duets to an unusual younger hero story, they were the books that stayed in readers’ hearts and intrigued new readers’ minds.
Bundle contains: The Sweetest Taboo by Alison Kent, The Older Woman by Cheryl Reavis, Shotgun Nanny by Nancy Warren and Cullen’s Bride by Fiona Brand.
Here are the two books I nominated and the reasons I nominated them:
First:
Shotgun Nanny was one of the two stories making up Duets #78. I, personally, would love to see the Duets print anthologies made available as individual digital releases, but Shotgun Nanny is a particular favorite of mine and contains one of the funniest lines I’ve ever read in a romance.
And second, the book I most wanted released digitally of all the books I could possibly think of:
I’d love to see The Sweetest Taboo released in digital format as I believe it’s one of the best the Blaze line has ever offered. The shower scene was groundbreaking for series romance, and it’s a perfect example of how erotic a romance can be without graphic language or envelope-pushing.
There’s also the SBTB Harlequins That Hooked You bundle, which contains Prince Joe by Suzanne Brockmann (first in her TD&D series). Prince Joe is probably my favorite romance hero of all time. I love Joe Cat. And Wendy the Superlibrarian’s bundle has hot firemen!
