Still a little on the warm side up there in No Air Conditioning Land, but we had a nice weekend of camping, nevertheless.
This summer, the owner of the campground is hiding things around the (100+ mile) trail system and we have to find them. We get a picture of the surrounding scenery and a more close-up shot of where the can’s hidden. That’s it. The Short Kid, upon receiving his photo clues, immediately went into full obsession mode. Mini did her best to help him out.

His new Outlaw made it back to the campground every time we took it out this weekend which, considering it spent 27 of the first 33 days of its life in the shop after coming out of the woods on the strap both times it went out, is very good news. Hopefully the broken connection was its only problem and now it’ll run like a champ.

Saturday night we threw the Short Kid in the box and took a quick run up a mountain to watch the sun set. Or mostly set, because we had to be back before 9pm curfew. We made it with about six minutes to spare.

Spent a lot of time lounging around. Who needs lawn chairs?

So that’s what we did. How about you? Did you do anything fun this weekend?
