Stalking the UPS tracking app

My nook is in town. Or so the UPS app tells me. And it’s scheduled for delivery today. But we’ve got 10-18″ of snow forecast to fall and the first flakes are already flying. Since the truck doesn’t get to this area until mid- to late afternoon, I’m dreading the “exception” status due to weather.

I want my new toy!

We’re supposed to get another foot Thursday/Friday, so hopefully my new toy comes today!

    I did get the nook

And get this—there’s nothing on the ground. 10-18″ forecast and so far, not a damn thing. It’s snowed off and on a few times and we had about 3 minutes of fast sleet, but nothing’s sticking.

Of course now we’ll wake up to a fresh foot.
