Perching Boy, Flopping Shih Tzu

Everybody loves a reading spot. TK stretches out on his bed to read. The husband curls up in his recliner. I nest in the corner of the couch with my fleece blanket. SK? He perches on a kitchen chair.

What’s a little diva doggy to do when her Mommy’s lap is full?

Snuggle with Daddy.

HOW can SK read like that?

HOW can you not vacate your lap for THAT FACE?

HOW come I don’t have a Diva Dog to sleep like that in MY lap?

I just want to squeeze that puppy. And I have no idea how SK can read like that. Makes my neck hurt.

That lil furry face gets easy to resist when it’s saying “mommy mommy mommy mommy” from 6am to 11pm every single day.

And I have NO idea how SK can read like that. And it’s not a one-off picture, either. I’ve seen him lounging around on the couch, watching TV, but when he gets bored with it and wants to read, he goes out to the kitchen chair and perches over the book like a vulture. That’s not only how he was reading that minute, but that’s his reading “spot”.

He’s just weird. I’m sure he gets it from his father.
