Husband: You gonna be ready to go tomorrow?
Me: Umm…go where?
Husband: Labor Day weekend? Going north? Ring a bell?
Me: I’ll be ready.
Sure I will.
Actually, after one of the most insane weeks of my life, I think I have my to-list down to two things:
1. Don’t forget tomorrow’s picture day for TK, and SK’s the 10th. (Whatever happened to taking school pictures in the fall, when they could wear nice sweaters?)
2. Buy TK a TI-83 graphing calculator.
My brain rebooted itself sometime in the last couple of days, so I’m pretty much back to what passes for normal for me, which is good. I know today’s Thursday, so that’s a start. (I only know that because my neighbors put their garbage out.)
(Crap. I need to go put my garbage out.)
I’m not sure of the date, but I know Sunday’s the 6th because it’s my birthday. That would make today…okay, the brain’s almost rebooted.
There’s been a light chill at night and the morning fog that signals first frost isn’t too far off. Autumn’s by far my favorite season, so this is a good time of year for me. Hopefully things can get back to normal around here.
