Monday morning drive-by

A billion things to do and, of course, the Short Kid decides it’s a good day to play hookey. While rubbing his chest most pathetically, he confessed his belief he’s suffering from undiagnosed heart disease. Rather than drag out the performance, I let him stay home.

On the plus side, I’m about to trek to the post office and he can help carry things. Nice. (As long as we don’t overtax his heart, of course.)

Didn’t accomplish a lot writing-wise over the weekend, but my husband and the Tall Kid finally installed the screen doors we bought years ago. The one on the front door is a full-view screen and, yes, I’ve walked into it three times already, coming and going. The cats are freaked out by so much exposure to the alien world at large and the dog…she’s a little baffled and has walked into it more than I have (that I’ve confessed to, anyway).

And…the release date for No Surrender is August 11th! :boogie:

Off to do Monday. Here’s hoping we all have a good week! :coffee:

Screens are good. Release dates are better! And an assistant to help you lug stuff to the p.o., priceless.
