Mud season blues & a new toy

So it’s mud season here in New Hampshire, which means we’re between toys. The snow is gone, so sledding’s over, but the ground is too soft for ATVing. The majority of our trails are on private property and we don’t want to repay the landowners’ generosity by tearing stuff up.

But I am SO ready. The husband’s King Quad has been in the shop all winter, and it’s almost done. He took my Rincon out today to have it serviced. TK’s Hawkeye will get done soon, and SK’s hand-me-down 90 Sportsman is going to get spruced up and ready to roll.

But the big news of the day: my youngest sister, Meg, is picking up her first four-wheeler today :boogie: and her mother let her text me a couple of pictures. She’s very, very excited! I have MAD envy of her pink camo graphics and look forward to roosting her with mud at some point this season.

I love it. My daughter would love that too. Great choice. I wanna go play even though I’ve never been on one before.

:boogie: Oldest child will not see this… she’d turn green with envy and beg for her plan red one to get revamped (which she’s already doing, lol). Hope she enjoys it!

That looks so fun! Don’t worry, mud season will end soon. Then you can enjoy black fly season. Ah, NH spring.
