But it's Monday!

You wouldn’t know it around here. The kids are on vacation this week, a vacation I HATE because we don’t ski so we’re just trapped inside in crappy weather. I have an extra kid, too, because my sister’s come to hang out. Plus, the husband decided that, by the time he got the snow cleaned up, it wouldn’t be worth driving to the jobsite.

Instead of an empty house, it’s more full than usual. :bang:

We didn’t get a huge amount of snow last night—maybe six inches—but it’s so wet and heavy it’s like glue. It’s clinging to the lines and dragging them down so the lights keep dimming. Haven’t lost power, though. *knocks wood*

Miscellaney:

I would probably have enjoyed the Oscars a lot more if I’d seen any of the movies besides The Dark Knight.

Everything is right in my world during the one hour Amazing Race is on.

I still can’t find Instant Attraction by Jill Shalvis at Fictionwise and I’m started to get immensely frustrated/sad/pissed off. I desperately WANT this book!

I’m currently reading Nora’s The Tribute, which I’m enjoying. Dream sequences are a particular dislike of mine, but I am—as always—sucked in anyway. Waiting ever so patiently for the next In Death book.

Nascar: So far this season, being a Juan Pablo Montoya fan doesn’t totally suck.

I loved the Tina Fey and Steve Martin sketch.

I didn’t see ANY of the movies this year. NONE. I watch for the clothes.
