On the run

Zoom zoom zoom…

On my way out to Walmart and Market Basket and Staples, oh my! Then I have to disassemble the computer stuff so I can give it and the desk a good cleaning before it goes back into the office.

The new lavender office with carpet and curtains! :boogie:

The kids went to school today. There was some question as to whether or not that would happen because our high school is the emergency shelter for three towns, but the good news seems to be that my area no longer needs the emergency shelter.

I’ve discovered that driving a rear-wheel drive car that’s not four-wheel drive is not one of my better skills. It’s a good thing the husband leaves every day in the work van, because I’ll be giving the truck a workout this winter. I couldn’t even get the freakin’ car out of the driveway until we got rid of the ice.

Okay, I guess that’s all the random stuff I’ve got. The car should be all warmed up now and since the driveway it’s in is down to bare tar, I should be able to leave without wiping anything out.

I don’t envy you driving in those conditions. When I have to drive in ice/snow/sleet, I cry.

Here’s a sob for you. *sob*

When I first saw the title of your post, I swore it said “On the rum”.

    Maybe that’s a hint.
