I'm not dusting that

Here’s a picture of my office. Please don’t hesitate to shed a tear or say a prayer for me if you should feel the urge.

Straight across you can see where he’s cutting a doorway from the office into the train room. Currently you enter the train room from the living room and we’d rather have a solid wall there.

To the left you can see the shadow of my fax machine sitting atop a filing cabinet through the plastic. Office in the living room. Fun.

And look at all that plaster and lath.

:gaah:

That brings back such scary memories. I came a frog hair’s breath from killing my DH with a wrench when he installed a new tub. The misery. The heartache. The three days where there wasn’t any water in the house and I had to pee in a bucket. Did I mention misery?

I hope this project doesn’t take too long and that you love it when it’s finished.

We’re not even done with the upstairs bathroom yet.

    :gaah:

It still needs a vanity and trimwork and the closet finished. But I am VERY thankful we have a downstairs bathroom, so I know it could be worse.

Dust seepage through plastic is especially bad today. Will be re-duct-taping because plaster dust sucks the moisture out of skin and hair and I need to keep Mini out of it.

    :bang:
