Still hard at work on DG3. :type:
This weekend I wrote the :sled: scene. It was tough going and needs fleshing out, but the basics are down.
Ummm….that’s about all we did. The husband laid the tile floor in the bathroom. (Yes, we’re still remodeling the upstairs bathroom, but we did lose almost all of September, so that’s okay.) The boys played Lego Batman on the PS3. The cats curled up on my pages and refused to move, and the dog licked any exposed skin she could get to as well as herself. Pretty much the norm at Casa Stacey.
Interesting stuff, no?
Oh, I also bought a pack of neon index cards. I was trying to make a visual of the story because I have the plot, the subplot and four POV characters. I really just made a colorful mess and confused myself, so will keep writing and hope for the best.

So if the husband is laying tile, I take it his recovery is pretty much complete?

He’s still light duty. I carried the boxes of tiles up and stuff that like, but he’s doing really well. His follow-up ultrasound is the 28th, so he’ll be nervous until then. And his voice is still raspy and hoarse most of the time. Normal, and maybe permanent or maybe not.
At least I’ll win all the shouting matches!

I’m so glad he’s doing well! I’ll keep my fingers crossed/say some prayers for good news on the 28th. And let us know which way we should root for the voice thing.
