A German cover

Ann just sent Jaci and me the link to the German version of Going the Distance (which has Twice Upon A Roadtrip in it). (Although they’re calling it Lara, Jill & Lea for some reason. Maybe they don’t like roadtrips there. It would certainly explain the hideous lack of cupholders in their cars.)

It’s…ummm….very artistic. And possibly NSFW if nipples are frowned upon in your workplace.

I had no idea until I saw about 17,000 hits on my website from Germany. I decided to investigate and that’s when I found it. :woot:

Foreign covers/titles can be so weird. I mean, that cover looks like it should be for antho of Victorian erotica. Very pretty, but… :wtf:

I’ve had very central European characters stand in for my Chinese couple, obviously tropical settings for my Atlanta-based stories (Southern U.S.! Must have palm trees!), and other oddities too numerous to count.

BUT. on the German edition! My German Har’s do very nicely — they just reprinted LOOSE SCREWS as a mmp, in fact — six years after releasing it in trade. They read, those Germans.

Luckily I still have brown paper left over from covering the Tall Kid’s textbooks. :thumb:

It IS a beautiful cover. Very soft and romantic.

(My story has a skunk, macaroni & cheese, a lightsaberish condom, a Garfield t-shirt and more, so…)

    Very pretty cover, though.
