Feline Follow-up

Fine. I went.

I had to have a tetanus shot.

And I have to take Augmentin for 10 days, which the nurse cheerfully informed might make me feel nauseated, and I will almost certainly feel, because of the shot, as though a large man punched me in the arm.

It’s all Angie’s fault. She knows why.

    Hmm….

    Don’t go: Finger hurts.

Go: Finger still hurts, had to have a SHOT, must figure out how to swallow a pill the size of a loaf of Wonderbread two times a day, and survive having stomach torn up for ten days.

    :eyebrow:

Considering the check I just wrote for the Augmentin was substantial and didn’t include the ER visit or the SHOT, I’m guessing the cat chewing on my finger again will result in the husband shooting us both.

Yeouch. Somedays it’s good to be allergic to felines. Hope it heals fast and the Augmentin doesn’t make you too sick. Hang in there.

She wasn’t kidding about the punched in the arm thing.

    :baby:

Fortunately, my cast-iron stomach, which loves a cold leftover McD’s cheeseburger for breakfast, doesn’t seem to be minding the antibiotic too much.
