David Cook fronting ZZ Top?

Orgasms were had by all.

(Well, maybe not all, but certainly by me.)

We’re on DVR-delay, so I must avoid the ‘net from here on out, but OMG, I’m still panting.

I also thought the Brooke White / Graham Nash song was great. And actually got all mushy listening to George Michael!

Me too Alison. I actually thought the entire finale was great, which is a first for AI cuz typically the finale sucks.

Jaci it did make me wonder WHY they have such crappy “mentors” during the season when they could have gotten some really fine talent instead!

Whereas the performers last night were almost all going out on tour, the mentors were almost all (Mariah, Dolly, Neil) releasing new albums. You gotta wonder if the artists; PR people get requests in years in advance, LOL!

Thanks to you and Cindy Proctor-King, I have now watched more American Idol than ever before: about 10 minutes, 37 seconds. Would have been 4 minutes, 11 seconds, but it took a while to find the ZZ Top performance.

I think I’ll be getting me some David Cook tracks for my iPod. :)
