So I’d been hearing for a couple of days we’d be getting a dusting to 2″ last night. No big deal. Then the late news said 4-8″, and this morning’s news said 6-8″. Okay. So, despite there being less than an inch on the ground this morning, they called school because the storm’s supposed to wind down by noon. (They must figure at some point the snowflakes are just going to start pummeling the hell out of us.)
Now the kids are watching random scenes from multiple Smallville episodes, totally out of order. That’s not something I can do without being heavily medicated, but I do like to watch the cats. You’d think they’d be used to snow fall by now, even though they’ve never been outside, but it continues to fascinate them.

Cool pics of the kitties. Enjoy the snow day, and have a great weekend. :coffee:

Our kitties, OTOH, are watching rampant dove sex outside our windows. :eyebrow:

Wouldn’t you know this led to an oh-so-philosophical discussion between the husband and myself?
Would kitties watching rampant dove sex be like “Oooooooh, bird porn!” or would it be more like humans watching cows go at it?
I personally think it would depend on whether or not the cats have been outside and hunted. Then they’re watching food have sex with food. If not, it might be more like alien sex.
Yeah, rockin’ Friday nights at Casa Stacey.

Well…I’m thinking Zoe the Pudge is looking at them and thinking…well, not much really. Very sheltered kitty. “Looky there, two of dems stuck together!” is about as far as she gets.
Redford, however — who once came in through the back door with a dove in his mouth and an “Oh, crap” look on his face (because I was standing right there), is probably thinking the fud having sex with fud thing.
And your Friday nights sound about as stimulating as our Friday nights. Especially since we’re back in “Is that the baby crying?” mode every half hour or so.
