I know. The “Ellora’s Cave Presents” anthology from Pocket containing Interstellar Sparks isn’t scheduled until January of ’09, but it’s hard resisting that quick peek to see if it’s on the site yet. (As a side note, I had to think about that title for a second. In my head it’s still called Sparky & the Horny Housewife) (That was the working title—I didn’t actually submit it that way.)

Well, I think the covers are gorgeous, as evidenced by Fever-Hot Dreams (2/07) and Magical Seduction (4/08).

And seeing my name on a cover with Charlene Teglia and Summer Devon? Wicked awesome!

Plus, since Sparky was a Quickie it had a stock cover, so it’ll be nice to have a delicious one, like Jaci and Mandy’s!

So far, no dice. I know, January of ’09 is a long time off, so I’m limiting myself to a once-per-week check. But of course, thinking about Sparky has me thinking about the planned sequel again. I love Dane’s story (Sparky…I mean Bryan’s brother), but I’ve moved a little away from very, very naughty erotic romance. I’ll have to pull out what I had done it and reread it and just maybe make an exception.

In my mind Bryan and Dane were…the light and the dark? The overall story seems unfinished to me. Bryan’s funny and easy-going. Dane is dark and tormented. And there’s this one scene with an American Gladiators-esque foam jousting stick thing…

I digress. Anyway, waiting for covers is excruciating.
