I was pretty stunned when the doctor, who saw him just before noon on Monday said he could go to school Tuesday.
:eyebrow:
Sure, the kid has conjunctivitis, plus it gave him an ear infection to boot. So 1) he would be heartbroken if he spread it to a friend, 2) his own immune system’s a wee bit compromised, so he’d probably bring home God knows what and 3) I wanted to leave enough time for other parents to get THEIR kids straightened out if that’s where he picked it up.
So I kept him home yesterday, knowing today would be a snow day ( :censor: ) so he’s had a full three days on the ointment and antibiotic.
I guess mine was sympathy pink-eye. Kind of like when somebody mentions lice and you start scratching your scalp? I think I’m in the clear. Since the tall kid won’t get within 20 feet of the short kid, he’s in the clear, too.
