A post and run

1) It’s somebody else’s turn for this weather. We woke up to 7-8″ of nice fluffy stuff, then it turned to rain which turned the nice fluffy stuff into the wettest, most dense, heaviest mass of snow I’ve ever seen. So, in the pouring rain, we had to do roofs and driveways—it was a struggle to even clean off a vehicle—and then the husband had to go to my stepmother’s and do hers. There was just no way a woman could do it. Honest, not sexist. I swear. And we’ve heard a horrible amount of roofs collapsed in the state today.

2) Spam’s been a problem again, so I’ve added a new plug-in which closes posts to comments. Right now it closes a post once it’s fourteen days old. I’d like to change that to thirty, but I need to figure out how to edit the file first.

3) I got that Harlequin Romance Report thing in the mail today and—except for some pretty ads—the entire thing was about lying and confessions. Umm…nice Valentine’s Day theme.

4) It’s still raining. I’m going to bed.

    be safe.
    I’m praying for Spring.

I get tons of spam too. Have everything on moderation unless that person’s been previously approved. Full time job weeding through comments. gah.

    Oh, and Happy Heart day!

Yeah, I didn’t get (as in, understand  ) the Harlequin Report, either. Um, how was Lindsay Lohan’s mug shot conducive to romance???

It was 60-something today, here in Albuquerque. Tomorrow, rain changing to snow. High on Friday, 37, with more snow, possibly a LOT of snow. By Tuesday, back to 60.

    Fun, fun. :beam:

Ack, Shan, that’s a mess. Hang in there, spring is coming! Okay, mud season, but still.
