I feel like I’m living in a Mazda commercial, only all the other cars are turbo-charged and I’m running on fouled plugs.
My plan for this morning was to sit here in my butt for an hour or two, maybe do a few updates on the site, chat with some friends, catch up on some bloghopping. And, OMG, answer the bazillion emails I have flagged to answer. But two things have come up…
1. PBW announced Evermore is out, so I must go get it.
2. I thought I was done shoveling snow. Seriously. And none has fallen from the sky. But…not done. The back of the truck is packed with snow that must come out. And since I’m the one who needs the bed of the truck, I’m the one shoveling. The heavy, wet snow—exacerbated by warm days and freezing nights—is probably packed down so solidly I’ll need a pickaxe to get it out. If it wasn’t for the wheel wells, I’d be tempted to open the tailgate, point the nose uphill and punch it. (You know, after making sure there’s nobody behind me.) Alas, it doesn’t work that way.
Maybe tomorrow…
