Ever so slightly hungover

I spent the weekend pretty much higher than a kite on OTC cold med cocktails. Blech. Today, since I have to actually function—kids to school, tax-related math, driving a vehicle—I’m just taking the Sudafed without washing it down with the Nyquil. I’d wash the Sudafed down with Dayquil, but I’ve found that—when combined with high doses of caffeine—makes me twitch too much to get anything done.

Since coherency might still be an issue, I’m just going to post a couple of random pics today. They’re after the jump.

My new (used) toy. For those in the know, it’s a 2005 Honda Rincon. (Independent rear suspension….w00t!) This picture was taken the weekend after New Years.

My husband took this one—sunset on the snowmobile trails in the Great North Woods.

Gizmo (torti) and Jinx trying to convince me that by leaving it open, Dad gave his implied consent to their sleeping in his sock drawer. (Pic taken with crappy cell-cam)

    Ewww….germies!

Y’all stay away from me. Took me 2 weeks to get rid of my cold.

I do so love the Nyquil though. :coffee:

:coffee: <—that be theraflu or the like. I’ll have one with you.

Got up at 5am, took kidlet back to grandparents for school this week, came home and died. Was feeling a little weak last night, today it hurts to move and my head is at least watermelon size.

So you’re to blame for this flu, eh? Just you wait. (laughs until starts coughing)

Hey, an open drawer is an open invitation to a cat. I think they win that one. Feel better, Shan!

Cuuuuuuuuuute kitties! Get well soon, sweetheart. And watch the caffeine content of meds… it’s getting almost impossible for me to find good non-caffeinated cold meds…

    Awww kittens /swoon.

Seriously, watch out for that cold. Mady’s been fighting it for two weeks and it’s still hanging on. :vampire: Sleep seems to be the only thing that does any good.

    Nice toy :boogie:
