Shannon Stacey

Hey, look what's available in print!

When a man sets out to tame a strong-willed woman, he’d best hang on to his hat.

Will Martinson, the town doctor, already has a heap of troubles on his plate, what with a pregnant whore, an ailing friend and a sheriff with a bad habit of shooting people. The last thing he needs is a strong hankering for a woman who think it’s her duty to turn a man’s life upside-down.

Eliza Jane Carter is a woman on a mission. She’s going to improve the lives of the women in Gardiner, Texas before moving on to the next town. But when her finances take a turn for the worse and her chaperone heads for the hills, Eliza Jane is stranded in a town full of riled up menfolk, a gun-happy sheriff and one handsome doctor who makes her question everything she ever believed about the love between a man and a woman.

5 hearts from Brenda of The Romance Studio!:

Ms. Shannon Stacy has done an excellent job writing this masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and will look for other works by her in the future. I highly recommend this great historical to anyone who likes a myriad of characters doing so much that the script never got dull!

5 Angels & FAR Recommended Read from Missy of Fallen Angel Reviews!:

Taming Eliza Jane is without a doubt the best book that I have read in a long time. The book is a romance, but it’s a whole lot more. (…) This is the first Shannon Stacey that I have read, but I intend to buy more to see if they are all as humorous and as loving as this one was. If so, I have a new author that I’ll be adding to my favorite author list.

A 4.5 from Marlene of Once Upon A Romance!:

Ms. Stacey pens an endearing historical romance with quirky, but loveable characters. (…) Taming Eliza Jane is a great western historical romance with many humorous scenes and memorable characters. I highly recommend it.

Taming Eliza Jane is definitely worth reading. I loved it. In fact I loved it so much, I couldn’t wait for the next book in the series to come out. What has happened to Becoming Miss Becky? It’s no longer listed on the Samhain Website as coming out February 5, 2008. Can you enlighten me and all your other faithful readers?
    :wtf:

    Thank you, ladies! :diva:

Bev, unfortunately some stuff came up for me which required having the release date pushed back, but it won’t be too much longer. I’ll post as soon as it’s rescheduled.
