My RTB post, “Tis the season for category romance”, is up today!
And my children have a snow day! ACK!
Now I really wish I hadn’t put off wrapping. The short kid’s pretty anxious this year and can’t be trusted to stay in bed, so I was planning to accomplish most of the wrapping while they were at school. Not working out so well. First the short kid was home sick, and now this? Dammit. I also busted my butt last night getting almost fifty cards signed and envelopes addressed, and I can’t get to the post office.
Plus, my ATV seems to be broken. A tranny problem, maybe? Not the end of the world except it has the plow. (The plow plates are brand-specific, so we can’t move it over to the King Quad, which has full skids anyway, so it would be a horror show.) That means today’s snow will be removed old school.
One. Freakin’. Shovelful. At. A. Time.
As heated as the politics are up here right now, I should start calling up campaign headquarters and promising my primary vote to whichever candidate comes and shovels my snow.
And wraps my gifts.
Some clean dishes wouldn’t hurt.
