Okay, well really you just get to lease her. The AAR auction is up, which I’m sure y’all know, but here’s the link: Auctions for the benefit of Hands on New Orleans, administered by All About Romance. And you can win a critique from the fabulous Angela James, Executive Editor of Samhain Publishing.
Forever Again was the first book we worked on together…
Angie: Your hero’s an ass.
Shan: No he’s not. His life has been turned upside down and I think I’m being true to his character.
Angie: Fine, but I think he’s an ass.
At the start I did not like Travis…For most of the book I wanted to hit him
Still, I found myself at one point wanting to yell “Damn it! Tell him to take a long walk off a short pier!! Tell him to get the *f* out of your life!!
Or there’s On the Edge.
Angie: I think a prologue could work here.
Shan: Prologue? *GAG*
I then stewed for about ten days until the prologue popped into my head and I wondered how I’d told the story without it.
I loved the opening of the story
With a prologue like that, I can’t stop reading now, can I?
So go forth and bid so she can have somebody else to say “I told you so” to.

Hey – I recognize that review of Travis! You mean I wasn’t the only one who wanted to slit his throat for being such an ass? I always knew that Angie was a smart woman. :lmao:
