Almost time to blow some stuff up

I’ve decided to do DG3 (aka Gallagher’s book) for 70 Days of Sweat.

It works out well because my target word count is 80k and I’ve got about 10k done, which leaves 70k left to do. (Yes, I am in awe of my own math skills.) 70k divided by 70 days also works out nicely, making it so I have to write 1000 words per day (or 4 handwritten pages).

Just for the record, however, the easy math isn’t the only reason I chose DG3 (although it didn’t hurt). One, I’m getting in the mood for mischief and mayhem, and two, Gallagher keeps getting shunted aside for other projects and he’s not very happy about it. Most importantly, no matter what I’m working on as far as my career goals, I want to make DG3 a priority because of the many readers who said such wicked awesome things about 72 Hours and On the Edge.

This way, no matter what else is going on, his book will be done in a few months.
