Shannon Stacey

My kingdom for a topic

I’ll be losing my internet sometime today and it’ll be gone until probably Monday morning, but next week I’d like to start focusing more on writing topics. The problem is, I don’t know what to talk about.

So, anything you’d like me to talk about? Any “how do you…” or “what do you…” type questions? Craft, business, whatever. You can post them here in the comments or email them to shannonstacey@gmail.com and I’ll answer them next week.

Where’s Esmie? I don’t think we’re heard from her in a few weeks. It’s ok if she’s on a book tour for her western. Or if Immigration paid her a visit. Or if you have her locked in the cellar. It’s OK, Shannon, we’re here for you.

Personally, I’d like to know more about the Shannon Stacey plan for world domination! What lines are you targeting (I know you said you love category and want to write it), what single title ideas do you have kicking around, are you going to write a book your sister can read…Inquiring minds want to know!

Well, maybe I should have read this post before emailing you, twice. :hide: Sorry. I’ll be more patient.

I want to know, when you’re writing a series, how do you keep all the information straight. Do you have a journal where you write notes on each of the characters (ie from the Devlin group) and what they do, what they look like, whether they were shot or stabbed, etc. Or do you just keep referring back to the first book, which I assume would be a pain but… I know that JK Rowling built this whole world for HP and just had tons of info on it. I wondered if that was standard in series type work.
