Team Technicolor returns

We’ve returned! (Unfortunately—I could have stayed another two weeks.) It’ll take me at least a day to get back into the swing of things, so I’ll bore y’all with a few pics from the weekend. (But I’ll put them after the jump so you can skip if you like.) It was a wonderful long weekend, and just what I needed.

So….pics:

I told you about how my children chose their own gear and none of it matched. Here’s a shot of Team Technicolor in all their mismatched glory:

The little guy totally on his own for the first time:

The angle doesn’t really show in the photo, but here’s Dad’s King Quad making sure the little guy makes it up the hill:

We had our first OOPS moment this time out. Fortunately no injuries, other than the tall kid’s dignity:

The tall kid standing in front of where his dignity landed:

And after a long day of riding:

Fun! We watched eagles. Golden eagles. Bald eagles. Nobody got muddy. But it was still a good weekend.

    :tomato: I called, I called!

Ez is fine. She’s been good to me lately so I didn’t do whatever the ATV equivalent of keelhauling would be. And we didn’t see eagles, but we saw moose prints. And we ran over a pile of moose poop, which was the highlight of my 6-year-old’s day.
