Holy hell, what a ruckus!
I’ve got nothing to blog about, but I guess it doesn’t really matter right now, does it? Nobody cares when there’s a spectacular trainwreck happening. Since I don’t have anything earthshattering to blog about, here are more Obligatory Photos of Author’s Cats to give you a brief respite from the insanity:
Here’s Gizmo standing on the back of the recliner trying to get closer to the camera. We named her Gizmo because she was such a little gremlin as a baby and because I knew a certain friend would giggle every time I refer to “Giz”. But don’t let Gizmo’s feline appearance fool you. She’s really a puppy. She’s dumb and uncoordinated and loving and so very uncatlike. (She’s best buddies with the short kid.)

This is Jinx, named after Hallie Berry’s character in Die Another Day. She is very much a cat, with all that feline attitude goodness. She likes things quiet and will reward our compliance with the occasional cool glance. (She is best buddies with the tall kid.) Jinx does, however, have a severe foot fetish. She will make mad monkey love to my husband’s feet at any opportunity and has gotten her head stuck through the loop of a flip-flop and her entire body stuck in a winter boot.

Totally off-topic, but I do love your ‘Angie is Evil’ smiley.

Nice kitty pictures, Shan! What is it with cats and feet? Muse likes to lay on my feet. It’s kind of nice when I’m writing with the laptop and it’s cold, though.
