New RT review

Hey, we went to Borders today and I picked up the May RT. (I keep forgetting to renew my now-expired subscription, dammit.) I have to admit I particularly enjoy the issues that have my name in them. :lmao: The review was for the Talons antho, so here’s a highlight of the review and the blurb for the antho and for my story in it. (The stories in the print antho are available individually as digital releases.)

4 Stars!—The five tales featured in this unique anthology all revolve around one thing: shape-shifting birds of prey. Each author crafts a believable word populated with creatures who are realistic in their chosen situations. While some of the novellas are faster-paced than others, each features passionate characters in very (a)rousing situations! — Romantic Times

TALONS

Available now in print

TALONS—a compelling assortment of five stories, soaring to new heights of passion with shape shifting birds of prey.

Take flight with a king who must take a mate in order to save his people, finding her in the unlikeliest of places; a princess whose destined mate is a falcon commander she’s previously tormented; a man locked in a cage for fifty years now hunting revenge; a legendary firebird a Collector seeks for his private collection; and a raven shifter who delivers death with the simplest touch.

No feat is too high for these lovers contending with both enemies and their own hearts, in the end waging the most dangerous battle of all—the battle of love.

Talons: KISS ME DEADLY

An erotic paranormal romance

Available now from Samhain Publishing

Death is a collective—an unkindness of supernatural ravens with the power to take the form of men and to decide which humans live and which humans die with a mere touch.

When Khail lays his fatal touch on his next victim and she doesn’t die, he’s faced not only with a human immune to his deadly power who has seen him shift forms, but he’s able to have physical contact with a woman for the first time in centuries.

Falling for a shapeshifting messenger of Death wasn’t on Bridget Sawyer’s agenda, but things are about to get even more complicated. The Unkind is determined to claim her.

This novella is also available in the print anthology, Talons. Click here for more information on the print anthology and the other four novellas in the Talons series.
