Left Behind…with kids

It seems like half the world’s off to RT or off preparing for RT. I, of course, am left behind. And to top it off, we’re not quite halfway through April vacation.

My. Kids. Are. Driving. Me. Mad. :bang:

How can two children even be awake enough to play Star Wars Battlefront at 7am, never mind fight about it? There go the rest of the Twinkies.

Angie’s having a HUGE Left Behind Contest that you do NOT want to miss! So I guess this isn’t a good place to use :angie:

:neener:

:cowboy: And I got to see my cover for Taming Eliza Jane yesterday. Very sexy! :nookie: As soon as it’s official, I’ll share it with you. :villain:

Hey, I’m not going to RT, either. And my kids get up at 5:00 a.m. Sometimes earlier. Good thing I have coffee. :coffee:

No RT here, either. May 1 deadline, line edits coming on Nov. book, have to write synopsis for March 08 book, revise the YA I finished 6 weeks ago…

So believe me, I won’t miss RT. Not that I would in any case…

And I now live with vampires. If the kids don’t have to get up before noon, believe me, they don’t.

I’m left behind too. And why aren’t you on IM with me holding my hand. Don’t make me call and talk Okie to you. :cowboy:

I’ve got 2 girls that wake up early and then the older 2, unless I drag them out of bed, they just get up whenever they wake up and the longer they sleep, the less fighting I have to referee so color me happy. :cheer: :woot:

    5 in the morning? :hide:

    That’s….I can’t even imagine.

On occasion I’ll be up when 5am rolls around—very, very, very rare occasion—but there’s absolutely no way I could deal with children at that hour. Seriously, if you said “Shan, you can be on the NYT list, but you and kids have to get up everyday at 5” I’d have to think about it. A lot.
